Baldwin County officials refuse to lower flags in honor of Orlando victims

Officials in Baldwin County have allegedly refused to lower flags to half-staff in respect to the victims of the Orlando mass shooting. The county Commissioner told media that the decision not to lower flags was in-line with the guidelines set out by the flag code.

“While my heart certainly goes out to the victims and their families…it doesn’t meet the test of the reason for the flag to be lowered to half-staff,” the Commissioner is reported to have said.
